　　Versailles, 1667. Louis XIV a 28 ans. Pour soumettre la noblesse et imposer définitivement son pouvoir absolu, il entreprend de transformer Versailles… comme on tend un piège. 1812年，拿破仑的军队控制大部分的欧洲国家。在为数不多未被征服的国家中，俄国打算联合奥地利一起进行殊死抵抗。贵族安德烈公爵（梅尔·弗尔 Mel Ferrer 饰）就是这样怀揣一腔抱负的俄国军官。然而安德烈的挚友皮埃尔公爵（亨利·方达 Henry Fonda 饰）却毫不关心战事。他在父亲临终前成为遗产继承人，与贵族之女海伦（安妮塔·艾克伯格 Anita Ekberg 饰）结婚，却在婚后不久发现性格不合而分居。安德烈战役失败被释放归家看望难产而死的妻子。几个月后，彼埃尔与罗斯托夫伯爵一家在去打猎，叫上了安德烈。安德烈对伯爵的女儿娜塔莎（奥黛丽·赫本 Audrey Hepburn 饰）一见钟情。不久，娜塔莎接受了安德烈的求婚，然而安德烈很快重返军队。海伦的弟弟阿纳托里趁虚而入，骗得娜塔莎的爱，唆使娜塔莎与他私奔。俄法战争开始，娜塔莎遇到了深受重伤的安德烈，安德烈在临死前原谅了娜塔莎的背叛。战争结束后，皮埃尔回到了莫斯科，与娜塔莎结合在了一起。

　　由Louis C.K.及Pamela Adlon主创，该剧算是Pamela Adlon半自传性质剧，讲述一位中产单身母亲女演员，如何整天工作之余，还照顾起三个女儿，而且她还得抽空应付住在对面街的英国籍母亲（Celia Imrie饰）。

　　“Versailles is the next step in the international co-production strategy we are now pursuing with our partners,” said Fabrice de la Patellière, Head of French Drama and Co-productions at Canal Plus. “This new season, that we aim to develop with renewed originality, will be a full-blown immersion into the absolute power of Louis XIV.”　　Added Claude Chelli, Director of Capa Drama: “King Louis XIV ruled France for 72 years, so there are still many stories to be told, in the same style and with the same contemporary approach that we established in Season 1. So it is with great relish that for the second season, we are going to take the series into the realm of women, love potions and poisons.”

糊涂侦探是由喜剧大师梅尔.布鲁克斯编剧的电视剧集《糊涂侦探》在60年代仿效当时流行的007系列电影改编的间谍喜剧。 　　10多年前在国内放映过，国内也踊跃出一大批剧迷。男主人公叫麦克斯韦.精明-特工86号，他的女搭档是99号特工。里面的特工用品都很滑稽，比如86号的皮鞋电话、局长的隔音罩等等。 　　该片在1965年-1970年在电视台播出，1989年又顺时推出了《新糊涂侦探》，95年又推出了《糊涂侦探再度出击》；1980年克里夫.唐纳导演的电影版86号《The Nude Bomb》。这些都是由男主角唐.亚当斯主演，更值得一提的是同在国内被人熟知的动画连续剧《神探加杰特》"Inspector Gadget" (1983) [TV-Series 1983-1986]中的加杰特也是由亚当斯配音，后来亚当斯多次为加杰特配音并演出过一个电视版--The Amazing...
